I love this cd! Sonic's theme is my favorite by far. There are 2 other version of "His World" as well by Zebrahead & Crush 40 which is just as good & maybe better than the original. The choice is up to you. Shadow's theme is not exactly new but it's better than MANGA-FI's original version from Lost & Found: Shadow the Hedgehog Soundtrack in my mind. Now for Silver's theme named "Dreams of an Absolution" is something new breath of fresh air in the series and one great song to boot. Even the remix with LB (Remix Factory) & Jun Senoue rocks even better. Finally "My Destiny", the theme of Princess Elise performed by Donna De Lory. She does this song beautifully well. I fell in love with the song on the 1st try. I wish it was remixed, oh well. This is a MUST-HAVE for ALL Sonic fans.
Say what you will about the Sonic games as of late, but one thing that can't be denied is how great the soundtracks have been, from the original score to the vocal tracks. And this release is no exception. It features 4 songs from the game and three bonus tracks not available anywhere else, including two new versions of the main theme of the game, "His World" (one by Zebrahead and one by Crush 40). It may not be the best Vocal CD from a Sonic game (that belongs to LOST AND FOUND for the Shadow The Hedgehog game), but it is definately up there as one of the best.
