[「柳ジョージ」生誕69年、没後6年] 柳ジョージ&レイニーウッド(1975-1981)解散後、柳ジョージがソロ名義で発表した1st『GEORGE』(1982年)からブルースのカヴァー・アルバム『KING BEE BLUES』(1993年)までの12作品を高音質SHM-CDで再発売。2012年リマスター音源使用。 9thオリジナル・アルバム『Raw』(オリジナル発売: 1991年2月25日)。オープニング・チューンの「Woke Up This Morning」からいきなりスライド・ギターが飛び出す80年代前半同様の全盛期を再び迎えたかのような、力強い楽曲が並ぶ。ファンキーなブルース・ロック「Shaken To My Soul」でも、ブルース・フィーリングたっぷりのギター・ソロを披露している。シングル・カットされた「Long Time Comin’」はオールディーズ・スタイルのミディアム・チューン。歌心たっぷりに泣くギター・ソロも素晴らしい。本作でも前作同様、美久月、渡辺、島村英二(d)などスタジオ・ミュージシャンを起用。
