Like most people, I came to know May'n via the tunes of Macross Frontier. I was excited when I learned that May'n would release a mini-album. But as it turns out, Kanno Yoko was really the one behind the brilliant songs. The entire mini-album is just a collection of third-rate JPop songs. In cruder words, I would say that it's aimed more for "normal people". I liked some of them when I first listened to them, but not a single song made any sort of a lasting impression on me. The only song worth mentioning is May'n's version of Lion, which was from Macross Frontier. Even that wasn't the same without Nakajima Megumi, and I'm not even a fan of Ranka's singing. A prime example of a young singer ruined by bad songs.
