this was phils first solo record outside of thin lizzy that was released back in 1980, like the second solo album THIS IS NOT THIN LIZZY, this has a bit more of a pop sound to it and a mix of reggea and a jazzy sound at times with even a bit of blues thrown in but very polished up for us radio as the second album was from 1982, this is great for diehards of lynott but it was obvious he was playing around with a real pop sound with his 2 solo records and its kind of hard to belive both these records where done between the 2 thin lizzy classics CHINATOWN (1980) AND RENEGADE ( 1981) those 2 are killer thin lizzy hard rock!!!!!!!!!!!!! these 2 solo albums are POP, beautiful original uk lp replication here and a great replica of the original japan obi strip...............also the shm remastering makes these sound better then ever..............
