with the exception of probably my 3rd or fourth favorite Steppenwolf song RIDE WITH ME wich appears on this album there was a big change I felt in there sound for this record, it seemed the band started to ease up a bit to much on things but still its typical Steppenwolf here but I preffered monster to this record by a far shot, as I said if it was not for there big killer hit ride with me I feel this record would have tanked back in 1972 when this came out, also I belive this was the last album the band did for a while, regardless if you liked all the others such as I did then im sure you would not have a problem with this please remember its all still here but with a bit of a softer touch I felt and to me Steppenwolf where a real hard rock band that stated by blasting out BORN TO BE WILD 45 years ago in 1968, anyway after this record I kind of fall off to the wayside as I was never interested in anything they have done in over 40 years since this album came out... ride with me ride with me until the end of every dayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
