I disagree with the previous. This release has better dynamic and imaging than regular SHM version, to me more life. The regular SHM has higher noise floor - volume match or it will be louder when listen and everything like microdynamic or stage different. Also, Riding the Scree will prove the goodness and sweetness.

I voted 3 stars. I have the japan mini sleeve sacd/dvd, the shm-cd from last spring, now the platinum. for audio quality the dvd-audio won over the platinum and shm-cd from last spring. but the shm-cd from last spring is the second best that it would ever get. I think the platinum was weak and had no life to the audio. I was hoping it would.
