Yuzuki Reon is truly impressive as Napoleon Bonaparte with an equally amazing supporting cast. The sets are lavish and the costumes sumptuous. Yuzuki Reon transforms herself for every performance but really stands out in this role. She sings 14 songs (!) and is in almost every scene - displaying a boundless energy. Notable performances by the rest of the cast include a young Rei Makoto stealing the scene as Napoleon's stepson with a heartfelt solo, beguiling everyone with her raw talent (and gaining quite a few fans in the process, I imagine) and veteran musumeyaku Miho Keiko putting on a typically magnificent performance as the stern matriarch of the Bonaparte family. Among my one of favourite Takarazuka Kagekidan shows.
