『エリザベート』日本上演20周年を記念して、ブルーレイ1枚とCD1枚にブックレットをセットにしたスペシャルアイテム! ブルーレイには、記念すべき初演の雪組公演映像をリマスター収録。感動の舞台がよりクリアーな映像で甦る! さらに1996年の星組公演から最新2016年の宙組公演までの舞台映像もダイジェスト収録。CDには、珠玉のナンバー10曲をオーケストラ演奏で収録。 ――19世紀末。ヨーロッパ随一の美貌を謳われた、オーストリア=ハンガリー帝国皇妃エリザベートが、イタリア人アナーキスト、ルイジ・ルキーニに殺害された。ルキーニは独房内で自殺を図る。煉獄の裁判所では、犯罪行為から百年も経ったにもかかわらず、ルキーニを未だ尋問している。ルキーニは、エリザベートは死と恋仲だった、エリザベート自身が死を望んでいたと主張する。そして、それを証明するため、エリザベートと同時代を生きた人々を霊廟から呼び起こす。最後にトート(死)が現われ、エリザベートを愛していたと告白する。時代は1853年に遡る。少女のエリザベートは、ある日、綱渡りに挑戦しようとしてロープから落ち、意識不明の重体に陥る。冥界に迷い込んだエリザベートにトートは一目で惹きつけられる。トートはエリザベートに生命を返してやる。そしてその愛を得ようと、彼女を追い続ける決意をする。こうして、愛と死の輪舞(ロンド)が始まった。 ＜主な出演者＞一路真輝・花總まり・高嶺ふぶき・轟悠・香寿たつき
