Rien à redire, toutes les musiques sont géniale, surtout : advent one winged angel, divinity I et II, those who fight, chase of highway, reunion...
This is the only FF OST I have bought and I am not disappointed at all! Clearly, a great deal of thought has been put into the whol scheme of the album and the two CDs are packed with great music and the experience had from listening to them is orgasmic. I particularly love the choral tracks and the surprisingly successful 'rock-orchestra' number which shows off Uematsu's genius as a composer. Surely, he deserves to be given a DMus (Doctor of Music) at some ancient Japanese university for this work alone.
I absolutely love this soundtrack. Nobuo Uematsu is a brilliant composer. I definitely recommend purchasing the soundtrack, especially if you are a fan of the games. C:
The cd was in perfect working condition. There wasn't even a scratch on the case from being shipped like I get a lot in the USA. The cd arrived a lot quicker than I expected which made my day.
Nobuo Uematsu has done it again. Honestly, I bought this album for the music used during the fight scenes of the movie, specifically "Beyond The Wasteland" and "Advent: One-Winged Angel". These songs are amazing. All of the tracks are great listens, though. And with two discs, it's worth the price.
When I bought this CD, I hadn't seen the movie, or played the game. I had simply heard 2 of the songs on an internet radio station. After hearing the song I had to immediately buy the album. It's one of the best decisions I've ever made. The music on this album is simply astounding. The traditional orchestral pieces are very beautiful; the numbers with the latin (ancient latin, not latino) chorus are chilling and the heavy metal/hard rock numbers are just plain excellent. Normally, I don't like heavy metal; in fact I hate it. But in this case, I can't get enough of it. Finally, there's the 2 numbers I heard on the radio. "Battle in the Forgotten City" is the reason sub-woofers were invented. "Advent:One-Winged Angel" is truly an awe-inspiring piece of music. There is no other way to describe it; nothing I could write would do it justice. With nearly 90 minutes of music on 2 discs, it's a great bargain. Also, the liner notes are quite good. In addtion to detailed information about each track they contain the lyrics for all the songs. The whole thing comes packaged in a deluxe high-quality jewel case. Buy it, you won't regret it. You don't even have to be a fan of Final Fantasy.
This 2 cd set is just fantastic. It has tons of great music from the show. You will like this cd even if you havent picked the DVD. Get it before its gone.
This is a really gorgeous soundtrack that expands the melodies featured in FFVII in the game into the full orchestral work that was played during the course of the film. With 2 discs, it is absolutely value for money!
If you like contemporary-like remixes of game music, then this is a great buy. For the ones that enjoy the original, old school Nobuo Uematsu game music - there is a chance of a minor letdown. Interesting piece of Final Fantasy, with another view to the melodies.
If you are a fan of Nobuo Uematsu, you will love this music. It is similar to the other Final Fantasy music, especially FFX. However, some of the tracks, including JENOVA, have a very heavy metal/guitar feel to them. This is mixed with orchestral in a way only Uematsu could pull off! It's beautiful and revving! It sounds very much like The Black Mages, Uematsu's metal band. If you like this album, you should check out The Black Mages too. My favorite track is "Water". It's simple, yet beautiful and expressive. I highly recommend this CD set.
After watching Advent Children, I decided I just have to get the OST! The music complemented the movie superbly. One of my favourite tracks is Beyond The Wasteland, from the first bike chase scene. Can't stop my head from shaking whenever I hear the track. Overall a great OST, an excellent purchase. Bring on FFVII part 3!
FFVII AC Original Sountrack, a CD that MUST BE in the collection of every fan of this movie of the best rpg ever maked.
FFVII: Advent Children has been blessed with a wonderful composer named Nobuo Uematsu, and he just keeps getting better. This soundtrack features several pieces from Final Fantasy VII, remixed and decked out, and also has a lot of original pieces. Either way, it's all great. The first disc contains slower, peaceful music, several of which are performed on the Piano. The second disc is action-oriented and fast paced. Even if you haven't seen the movie, the soundtrack is extremely enjoyable. There's not a flaw to be found!
I ordered this right after I saw the movie the 1st time. I believe that was in either July or August. It was worth waiting a month or 2 to get this beautifully crafted ost. Obviously the coolest song is Advent One Winged Angel. Buy this even if your not one for buying osts. Its well worth the $.
If you love FFVII:AC (and music), you'll LOVE this OST. All the tracks are pure orchestral greatness. Believe it or not, orchestra and rock elements actually fuses in this OST. (I know some other examples of that but well, who cares? XD) I love this OST, especially One-Winged Angel.
I listen to this soundtrack all the time. In fact, I'm listening to it while I'm typing this review. I only have a few words of warning about this one: "Don't listen to Disc 2 and drive!" I've come very close to getting a ticket on more than one occassion! The original re-do's and the new music are amazing! It's hard to not like it. Even if you're not a fan of the game series, but are a die-hard music fan, then you need this soundtrack. It has a wide variety of music ranging from soft piano melodies to downright, hard-core heavy metal. And the re-working of One-Winged Angel is to die for!!! Buy it, you won't be disappointed!!
Like every time, very good music from Nobuo Uematsu. I really envoy this OST, with some excellent remastered songs from the original game (lot of memories). I highly recommend owning this OST and not only to FF fans...
It's a good soundtrack I admit it, but most of it is just recycled music from the piano collections or some disc else, very few "new" or original tracks, but the new version of One-Winged Angel alone makes buy this CD!
This is one of the best soundtracks I've had the pleasure to listen too. I highly reccomend this soundtrack to everyone.
