This was one of those albums where it was destined to make a splash and create some waves for itself. I can't say I enjoyed ALL of the songs 100%, but I CAN say that Noble is a great effort for a debut album from a band trying to do something a bit different with the Visual Kei sound without taking too much from other bands that came before them. I can also say that all of those songs were at least of GOOD quality, though some of them could use just a little bit of improvment( which is the reason I only rated it a 4). The songs I enjoyed the most would have to be Windress, After Cloudia, Zombie and Aristocrat's Symphony. The booklet was nice and showed off Versailles's unique image and the DVD was a nice little bonus. I can definately say that I will continue to keep my eye on this band and anticapate any of their future releases as I'm sure they will grow even stronger the longer they are around. Fans of Visual Kei will be bound to like, if not love, this album.

This CD was bought on a whim...I had seen a lot of promotion for this group, and I thought "why not?". I wasn't disappointed either! Their style is great and they are a pleasure to listen to.

Versailles have constantly impressed through their intricate compositions and technical skills. The album ranges from fast, shredding songs to mellow ballads. The album is pretty well balanced in this aspect and thus doesn't sound overly heavy. Its a pretty solid symphonic metal release. While I like the album, I have worries that the band's sound is beginning to sound too 'monotonous'. The songs are beginning to feel similar hence the 4 instead of 5 stars. Hopefully with future releases, the grandiose sound would still be there albeit with a more different feel to it.

I got this quite a while back- when it first came out- I even got the special postcard! Anyway, this CD is even better than the first- more variety- and the DVD with the video of Intro and Aristocrat's Symphony with Episode at the end is great! The box art (cardboard sleeve) is beautiful, the art book in beautiful- very high quality and features each of the band members in their new costumes. The sound quality is much clearer- Hizaki's parts aren't so loud my ears bleed.

i liked it. this band have a really interesting sound and i loved the front cover of the album. this is a must have album for any jrock fan

VERSAILLES do not fail as composers. Each song is just as well-written as the other... because they all sound exactly alike. After weeks of listening to this album, I still confuse the songs; if not for the lyrics, I would have no idea at all what I was listening to. I even have trouble telling where one track ends and another begins. Fans will not be disappointed by this album if they're looking for the same great work as expected from the band; However, the lack of musical growth and variety is below expectations for such a talented group. Though the new album NOBLE is nothing new for VERSAILLES, there is a great amount of potenial in the band, and intend to continue following them. More than anything else, NOBLE is a minor setback for VERSAILLES, and hopefully one that will be followed by another amazing release in the future.

This album is again a fantastic demonstration of Versailles's talent ! Simply wonderful, this album'll bring you in another universe : Versailles's one ;) Songs are more and more beautiful, full of feelings, ... Moreover, the album presentation is great ^-^

This cd is great. And the photobook was absolutely gorgeous. This is a must have for all Versailles fans.

This new CD Versailles came out with is excellent! It was worth the waiting period and the box set is beautiful. The photographer was excellent in capturing each band memembers, and not to mention the fact the band members did an excellent job in creating the CD. Kamijo really put a great effort, along with Hizaki, Teru, Yuki, and Jasmine You, in this CD and I must say I was blown away. It's a must have CD.

I think the first full-length album release from Versailles is a great musical and visual success. We've alredy heard the "A Noble was Born in Chaos"-single, thus the choice to make a new PV of "Aristochrat's Symphony" can be questioned. But of course, it was great and beautiful. I loved both "Antique in the Future", "After Cloudia", and the new mix of "the Revenant Choir", although i wish that the new take had gone through a longer session of careful mixing and mastering. All in all, i think this is a great release by Versailles, although I think that there are some songs that sound pretty much the same, and that there are some songs where Kamijo's vocals only act as a supplement to the guitars, this shouldn't be the case. This is a great album, but with the future releases Versailles has to come up with some new ideas, otherwise, it will be disappointing.

The Revenant Choir was not as energetic as the PV, I hope they will release the PV version of The Revenant Choir on their next album. >< Artistocrat's Symphony was great!!! Overall it was great... i wanted to put 4.5 because of the non PV version of The Revenant Choir, but there's no option, so I'm leaving a 5 on grounds of receiving the first press :P GANBARRO!!! VERSAILLES!!!

Versailles' first full length release promises much but sadly leaves a lot to be desired. While listening the album for the first time I did not realize I was listening my all time favourite "Revenant Choir" until the song was half way through. What was that all about? Everything else sounds pretty much the same as well; a common problem with many new releases these days. The album is too long and gets tiring with every song sounding like the one before. Visuals are great as always with Versailles but music has taken a step to a wrong direction after the astonishing Lyrical Sympathy.

Nobel is an album that a Versailles fan pictures; Elegance, Beauty, and the draw to another world. This has to be one of the best albums to be released this year. Everything from the music down to the packaging is beautifully done. It's obvious that a lot of time went into the quality of this album. Nobel is well worth its price and its sure not to disappoint anyone.

The CD is extremely good and everything is beautifuuul!!! The money and the waiting were absolutely worth it! The photobook is aaaawesooooooommmme!!! Every track is good and different from the others, Versailles created another masterpiece. The PV's awesome too (Kamijo is sooooooo hot!!!!!) And i think anyone can enjoy this cd and dvd (but vampire and visual kei lovers will most likely feel in heaven).
