美しいドールが織り成す、外國の幻想的な人形劇「Coopelia(コッペリア)」。見世物として絶大な人気を誇っていたが、数日後に見に行った女性達が、忽然と姿を消してしまうという 不気味な事件が街で広がっていた。どうしてもと、知人に誘われてその人形劇を見に行った貴女。そこで偶然、団長のベルメールからプレゼントされたのは、まるで生きてるかの様なシュテルンドール(スター人形)達だった。その夜、貴女が眠りに就いてから数刻、どこからか呪われた声が聞こえてくる。「ご主人様、起キテクダサイ──」それがこの不可思議な人形たちとの、愛の物語の始まり。第4巻は、独逸が産み出した悪魔のドール兄「琥珀のロルフ」(CV: 野島健児)。
