人気少女漫画誌「花とゆめ」で2013年から連載開始、単行本の総発行部数が200万部を突破した「覆面系ノイズ」(福山リョウコ著)を、『植物図鑑 運命の恋、ひろいました』などの大ヒット映画で知られる三木康一郎監督が実写化。美しい映像と繊細な演出で、高校生たちの恋愛ドラマはもちろん、バンドの青春模様をリアルに丁寧に描きだす。主人公・有栖川仁乃を演じるのは、若手再注目株の中条あやみ。ボイストレーニングを積み、劇中バンド「in No hurry to shout;」のボーカルとして歌声も披露。共演には、志尊淳、小関裕太、真野恵里菜、磯村勇斗、杉野遥亮ら若手人気俳優陣が集結し不器用でピュアな恋模様を繰り広げる。ワールドワイドに活躍する大人気ロックバンド・MAN WITH A MISSIONが主題歌「Close to me」、エンディングテーマ「Find You」を書き下ろすなど、音楽監修/楽曲プロデュースとして参加。
