Description
It is hair from around the neck and chest area of young goats, which has been subjected to little wear and tear. The hair is sufficiently long, and is the highest-quality among all goat hair. Its characteristics are the perfect balance of firmness and softness, and, in particular, the roots are thick and have resilience.
The highest-quality hair for brushes, known as "Koyomo", is hair that has been taken from goats living in the Yangtze region of China, in the 1970s or before, and is precious due to its rarity. Brushes using "Koyomo" confirmed as being from this period, are coated in cuticles up to the hair tip, and have delicate tips, which means that they feel smooth on the skin and have no friction. The brushes also last a long time, becoming more adapted the more they are used, and as make-up brushes they are unparalleled.
The glossy, bright-colored lacquerware goes though processes such as undercoating, second coating, and final coating, and is made with multiple layers of Japanese lacquer coating. Meawhile, the wooden base is coated with transparent lacquer and wiped with cloth several times, this process, called Fuki-urushi, is done to bring out the grain of the wooden material. The beautiful gloss, and the transparent wooden grain make for a stunning piece of lacquerware. It comes with a presentation box.
*Because this product is made with natural wood, wood grain may be visible on the handle. Thin lines may also be visible; these are a result of the product being manufactured with lacquer. Such variations may be expected with natural materials.

Customer Reviews
This brush is an absolute delight to use and to look at! The goat hair is beautifully soft and the handle feels great in my hand. It places blush just perfectly as it is soft enough to lightly pick up pigment, and dense enough to blend quite efficiently.Throw in that it is stunning to behold, and you have 5 stars, well earned.
I bought this brush last December when I had some points accumulated. It was such a surprise. The brush head is a perfect shape to lay on and buff blush. The hair is so soft. Its just maybe slightly softer than the otosuho pink series. I wanted to own one brush of at least each type of hair. Glad I chose this blush brush. The handle is truly unique.
