The cutlery rest is made using traditional casting technique which has been passed down through generations for over 400 years in Takaoka, Japan. Pure tin ware is hygienic, washable and safe for serving foods. Suitable for chopsticks and spoons, as well as card holders. Supplied in a box of paulownia wood. Meaning of 5 Patterns: 1) Plum: plum blossoms, meaning 'tidy' and 'wisdom'/ symbols of auspicious occasion 2) Nandin: lucky plant which is believed to turn problems into blessings 3) Gourd: meaning 'prosperity' and 'harmony.' 3 gourd is an indication of good fortune, and 6 for good health 4) Tortoiseshell: meaning'longevity' 'success in love,' 'happy married life' 5) Wave: infinite expanse

[Directions for use] 1) Place the center of the cutlery rest over the corner of a table. 2) Bend along the corner (forming a V shape). *Do not bend back and forth repeatedly.

[Maintenance] -Use a cloth (sponge), clean with dishwashing liquid (neutral in pH) after use. -Do not scratch with hard brushes. -Polish with common metal polishers, tooth paste, or baking soda to restore the shine. -Do not use over a flame, as they have low melting points. -Products are not to be used in microwave ovens or inside freezers.

■ 使用上の注意 及び メンテナンス -ご使用後は柔らかい布かスポンジを用いて、他の食器同様に台所用洗剤（中性）で洗ってください。 -硬いたわし等でこすらないでください。また、柔らかく傷つきやすいため、クレンザーでの研磨もしないでください。 -光沢が鈍くなってきた時は市販の金属磨きや歯磨き粉、重曹などで磨くと光沢が戻ります。 -より長くご愛用頂くため、一度曲げたら そのまま保管されることをお勧め致します。 -融点が低いため、直火にかけないでください。 -電子レンジではご使用になれません。 -ティンペストの原因となるため、冷凍庫には入れないでください。
