This is multi-functional as advertised. The brush hairs are firm yet soft, and the densely packed, well-shaped head is perfect for smudging eyeshadows and liners, putting darker color shadow precisely on the lashline, and placing shadow underneath the eye for a smoky look. Because it is very soft, it doesn't hurt or poke my eyes. The length is perfect and the handle is lightweight but sturdy. no stray brush hairs as well. Highly recommended.
