I love this brush, it's soft but resilient and it's perfect for base eyeshadow application, highlighting and to apply concealer on your undereye area. It doesn't poke the sensitive skin around the eye and applies products smoothly without moving the skin. Absolutely recommended!
BP023 Highlighter Brush / Koyudo BP High Class Series Customer Reviews
Makeup Brush
Very good for highlighting, eyelid, shading. The bristles look and feel like saikoho. A good brush not expensive.
This brush is quite soft and blends crease eyeshadows in 3 swipes. I lay crease color with a small crease brush and blend with this to defuse the pigments in a hurry. It works well on other parts of the face.
I use this brush for highlighter on the cheek, or use to apply base eye shadow. Its size is just big enough for precision when applying highlighter. The bristle is very soft but still has enough strength to pick up enough powder and for blending. For eye shadow application, I use it with either cream eye shadow or powder eye shadow. It is very soft and good for my sensitive skin. Just one application is enough to apply base eye shadow on my whole eye lid. I can also use it for final blending after applying different layers of colors.
Another great brush from Koyudo. It is a very soft brush and it does not bleed when washed. I mainly use it for placing and blending highlight. I have also used it for blending out the edges of eye shadow and it excels at that too.
I use this brush for many different purposes. It is excellent for blending eyeshadow as well as under-eye concealer. It is very soft, so it's never harsh on my aging, delicate skin in these areas. Occasionally I use it with cream highlighter or cream contour, as it is dense and precise. It is the perfect combination of shape, density, softness, and efficiency. Other top brands have similar brushes, equally lovely, but I prefer this Koyudo for its value and the convenience of ordering on CDJapan.

This little brush has longer handle than some of the others from Koyudo which I love. It's about the same length as my BP face brushes. I adore this brush for it's ability to blend eyeshadows. I've use it to blend/apply contour but I'd rather reserve it for my eyes. It's so soft (as with every Koyudo I've tried) and it's very reasonable priced. Similar to the Hakuhodo J214 but I without a doubt prefer this one because it's softer and just as functional.
