[Machine Translation] Classical violinist and pianist Poppy Akroyd, an up-and-coming performer/composer, has completed her third album! She has performed with important artists such as Hauschka and Nils Frahm, and now she has taken on the challenge of co-writing with guest musicians. This album features Manu Delago on hang drums, who has worked with Bjork and The Cinematic Orchestra, Mike Lesirge on clarinet and flute, who has worked with Bonobo and Andreja Triana, and Jo Quail on cello. This ambitious work is the result of her new side as a composer and producer! In her own playing, she not only plays the keys of a grand piano or upright piano, but also edits the sounds played inside with her fingers or drum sticks, resulting in a work full of creativity where classical technique and electronic experimentation coexist.

クラシックのヴァイオリニスト、ピアニストでもある注目のパフォーマー/コンポーザー、ポピー・アクロイドの3作目が完成! これまでにもハウシュカやニルス・フラームといった重要アーティストたちと演奏してきた彼女が、今作ではゲスト・ミュージシャンたちとの共作に挑戦。ビョークやザ・シネマティック・オーケストラとも共演したManu Delagoをハングドラムに、ボノボやアンドレヤ・トリアーナと共演したMike Lesirgeをクラリネットとフルートに、そしてJo Quailをチェロに迎えて制作された本作は、彼女のコンポーザー・プロデューサーとしての新たな一面が開花した意欲作! 彼女自身の演奏においても、グランドピアノやアップライトピアノの鍵盤を弾くのみならず、内部を指やドラムのスティックで弾いた音をエディットするなど、クラシカルなテクニックとエレクトロニックな実験性が同居する創意に溢れた作品になっている。
