When you think about a cleansing brush, you may think that it will be stiff and scratchy. Not so with this Chikuhodo cleansing brush. I like that Chikuhodo makes a difference between their brushes meant for foaming vs. cleansing. I like to use this brush after I had gotten a facial where there has been either manual or chemical exfoliation. The facial skin is more vulnerable and needs to be treated very softly and delicately. The goat hair on this brush is described as "high quality" without naming a specific area of the goat it comes from. That is ok, because the brush is very gentle and soft to the touch and when you wash your face with it, it is just like a light massage. I like that this brush won't hurt, micro-exfoliate or otherwise scratch what is already vulnerable skin! This is a good purchase!
