佐野元春 90年代アルバムをリマスター&高品質CD規格で一挙再発売 ! The Hobo King Bandと渡米、さらなる音楽的結束を固めたウッドストック・レコーディング・アルバム。共同プロデューサーに「The Band」のプロデュース等で知られるジョン・サイモン氏を起用。The Hobo King Band名義のファースト・アルバムと言うべき作品で、彼等のダウン・トゥ・アースなサウンドが見事に炸裂している。「The Band」のガース・ハドソンや「ラヴィン・スプーンフル」のジョン・セバスチャン等も参加し、米国ポップ・ロック・テイストが溢れる会心作。〝BARN″とは「納屋」のこと、ジャケットにも写っている納屋を改装したスタジオが使用された。満天の星空、戯れる鹿、焚き火を囲む食事、3週間に渡る合宿レコーディングはバンドをより強固なものにした。ミックスとジャケット制作は再び渡米しマンハッタンで行った。オリジナル発売日: 1997年12月1日。今回の再発にあたり、グラミー受賞など幾多の実績を残す世界屈指のエンジニア、テッド・ジェンセン氏がリマスタリングを担当している。 ◆Blu-spec CD2 / リマスタリング
