GAME [Regular Edition]

FLOW's music is one big medley of pop, punk, funk, and rock. I'm not the biggest fan of pop, and even less of punk, but despite the odds, I find myself really liking FLOW. "GAME" is a great starting point for new fans, but also an album that is a favorite of long-timers. "GAME" kicks off with the by-now very well known song "GO!!!," immortalized as the third opening to the anime series Naruto. It's a great choice for an opener, showing the listener exactly what the band is about. The album closes equally well, with the slow but very cool "Hands." The songs inbetween fluctuate from slow to mid-tempo fast, from pop to punk to rock, but all are catchy and make good listens. I'm a bigger fan of the first half of the album, but that's only because I just like that style of music more; the latter half is in no way worse. Standout tracks include Blaster, the second track and another song that is obviously and unmistakebly FLOW; Ryuusei, a beautiful ballad that is something of a precursor to one of FLOW's brilliant later songs ("Days"); and finally Nostalgia, with its reggae verse and powerful chorus. I'm not kidding when I say they're all good, though - I never skip any. Highly recommended.

WE ARE FIGHTING THE DREAMAS!!! I love that song!!! GO!!!! Probably my favorite album of FLOW's!! If you like FLOW, you have to get this album, or else your collection is NOT going to ever be complete!!!!
