ボクはボク、クジラはクジラで、泳いでいる。 / 邦画
へこたれない。だって、夢がある。実在する日本唯一のクジラ博物館。地方の小さな街で起きた、でっかいクジラと人間の奮闘記! ――クジラしか飼育されていない、和歌山県南部にある"太地町立くじらの博物館"。来客も増えず、次々に飼育員が辞めていく中、館長は、経験豊富なベテランスタッフから強い反対を受けても、飼育員リーダーに、純粋にくじらを愛する青年・鯨井太一 (矢野聖人)を任命する。東京の水族館からピンチヒッターとして呼ばれた石唯 (武田梨奈)や、学芸員の間柴望美 (岡本玲)ら、同僚たちの中にも懸命に太一をサポートする人も現れるが、皆を悩ませていたのは来客が少ないことだった。そんな中、博物館を盛り上げるために太一は、スタッフの手作りによる"くじらまつり"を行うことを思いつく。しかし、開催を目前に控えたある日、"くじらまつり"中止の危機が訪れる・・・。
