Great cd 4

This was the first Alice nine cd i bought, and it was great. The songs really have this great sound that just made me happy and there's a variety on this album. There are the the more mellow songs like Corona and Fantasy, and then there are the more rock-ish type songs like Kowloon and Velvet. I absolutely recommend this to any and all a9 fans out there.

I loved it!! I really love Q., Armor Ring, and Corona. I'm not really a fan of Dead School Screaming or Kowloon, but i love the rest. Great buy!!!!

very alice nine. , indeed!!! 5

Yeah! After having had a hunt for a few months, finally this it is!!! Zekkeishoku~1st full-length album of alice nine. !!! This is really great and it a must-have one for any alice nine. 's fans! Hm...I'd like to say that "Q", "jelly fish", "Haru, Sakura no Koro", and "Armor Ring" would be the ones I like best. But...I can't really decide which one is the best. Not giving nothing on "Fantasy" and "Velvet", these 2 tracks are 'already' awesome >.< Surely, those who have listened to will say so =) Zekkeishoku is definitely the 'expression' of alice nine. and as they said that if you'd like to know what alice nine. is like, then Zekkeishoku would be the answer! Yep, definitely! This album shows maturity of each member : Shou with his gradually better high pitch vocal range, Saga with his brilliance in bass and this time his skill in singing in "Q" alng with Shou and "Armor Ring" that he wrote >.< Then Hiroto,as usual is brilliant in catchy songs. Tora and Nao play their part very well, combining with others... Overall, this is a must-have item for you =)

I was so excited before album came :) and now i'm so happy i didnt wait long until CD was delivered to my door and i recived my beloved album. Cna't hide the fact that i heard almost all songs before i bought it, but song i didnt hear such as Corona or Jelly Fish. I have to say that i wasnt dissapointed in any song, they all great masterpices, so i recomed that album to everyone who loves visual kei mixed with j-rock, you'll love it hopefully as much as i do.

Nicely done 4

The transition from song to song is great, nothing seems out of place. Velvet would have to be my top pick, but they're all very good. If you're an Alice Nine fan and haven't picked this up, you won't be disappointed.

beautiful! 5

If I'd be asked to describe this album with one word, it'd be "beautiful" cause that's exactly what it is! I fell in love with it the very first time I listened to it. All the songs are amazing. Flowing together nicely, even though they are all very different from each other (which is of course only a good thing!) Shou's vocals have improved and I love the direction the band is heading^^ "Q." is absolutely the highlight! It caught my attention immediately cause of the catching English chorus it starts with. Saga's voice is a perfect amendment to the song, making it stand out even more. To be honest I'd be surprised if there was a fan who didn't love this song! "ARMOR RING" is a great way to end already so amazing album. The romantic atmosphere the song has will leave a positive feeling^^

Exquisite 5

The tracks flow nicely together and each track is different so it doesn't just end up sounding like the same garbeld mess. There are some nice intervals to break up the tracks too. With each new song Alice Nine continues to develop and grow bringing a unique sound to the j-rock/visual kei scene.

suprising!!! 4

Finally Alice Nine's first full length album! Not all of the songs are easy to get into with first listening, but some songs definately stick with you right from the start, the heavy rocking singles "Velvet" and "Nine heads rodeo show" are damn catchy for sure...! The many electronic elements were suprising and maybe a bit odd at the beginning, but you get used to them after you have listened to the album more often. "Q" was suprising as well, a beautiful duet of the vocalist Shou and the bassist Saga, fans just have to love this song! With "Armor ring" we have a very beautiful love song on this album, as well as a very punky song, "dead school screaming" full of english lyrics, both very personal. The english lyrics are astonishingly grammatically correct and Shou (and Saga) definately did a good job with the pronounciation.Shou's english tends to sound a bit like Hyde. He did get out of his shell though concerning the singing, he is far more daring with his voice than before, and this is GOOD! All in all a very experimental album full of different styles, the Alice Nine boys still have to find their definate style, but they are going into a good direction already.

A9's First Full-length Album Review. Pre-Release Comment

I honestly believe that this is A9's best CD. Other than the full versions of "Nine Heads", "Fantasy" and "Velvet", I have listened to the song samples on the OHP. Many, many times. The vocals are more daring, and showcase Shou's vocal range. "Q" and "World End Anthology" are my favourites (judging by the sample tracks). The English in "Q" is understandable, and quite impressive for a non-native speaker. I don't know how to describe "World End Anthology"...It is like a daytime drive through the country. Thought provoking, and yet strangely calming. After (over) listening to the sample tracks, "Armor Ring" has also grown on me. It is one of the more emotional tracks. My poor writing skills cannot bring justice to the images and emotions portrayed in this album. Please listen to the tracks yourself (samples availale on the OHP), and buy the album.
