[フルトヴェングラー超絶ライヴ III] アナログ・マスターテープから20～30数年ぶりにCD再復刻! セブンシーズ (旧チェトラ・レーベル)のフルトヴェングラー秘蔵音源が、最新デジタル・リマスタリング&UHQCD仕様でよみがえる!! 「40番」はCetra社から1981年に発売。「フィガロの結婚」「ドン・ジョヴァンニ」「魔笛」各全曲盤は82年に発売。今回のカップリングでのCDは初。「40番」は1949年に行われたベルリン・フィルとの演奏旅行での演奏。3種遺されている同曲の唯一のベルリン・フィルとの録音として貴重。ゆっくりとうたうアンダンテ、パワフルに突き進むアレグロ。スケール巨大な表現はまさにフルトヴェングラー! 重心が低く、深みと温かみを兼ね備えた落ち着いた音質となっている。3大オペラ序曲集はザルツブルク音楽祭でのライヴ全曲盤から。振幅の大きいダイナミックな表現で、劇的なドラマを表出している。
