The beautiful music of Soukyuu no Fafner is here in spades. The BGM portion of the album clocks in at only 56:15, but each track is at least 1:10 long, with most clocking in closer to 2:00 or 3:00; no 0:05 eye-catches wasting space, here. That it's a live, and very good orchestra (the Warsaw Philharmonic) performing this music is also very obvious--it has none of the artificial feel of even the best synths. So why not an A? No opening or closing themes. :( If you want Angela Aki's beautiful Shangri-La or Separation, you'll have to get the single.
