衛り継ぐ、意志。 "アニメイズム"枠にて4月より放送開始アニメ『シドニアの騎士』DVD第6巻。 対話不能の異生物・奇居子に破壊された太陽系。かろうじて生き残った人類の一部は、小惑星を船体とした巨大なる宇宙船シドニアで繁殖しながら宇宙を旅する道を選んだ。それから約1000年の時を経たシドニア出航紀元1009年。最下層部でひっそりと育てられた少年・谷風長道が、祖父の死を期に街へ出る。谷風長道が人型兵器「衛人」の操縦士訓練生となり、仲間とともにガウナとの戦闘を繰り広げる。長道は人型巨大装甲・衛人の操縦士訓練学校に入学することになり、そこで初めて祖父以外の人間と触れ合っていく。長道が初めて異性を意識する少女-星白閑。長道の初めての友人となった男でも女でもない人間-科戸瀬イザナ。長道の活躍に苛立ちを覚える少年-岐神海苔夫。様々な訓練生たちと学校生活を送る中、ついに長道たちに初任務が下される。それは決して困難な任務ではないはずだった。しかし長道たちの前に突如、奇居子が出現。100年ぶりとなる脅威との遭遇に、人類は、長道は、何を選択するのか? 人類の存亡をかけた戦いが今、始まる・・・。 TV放送第11話、第12話収録。 見開きブックレッ封入。
