This album may only have a few tracks compared to Volumes 1 and 2 of the Star Ocean TTEOT OST, but they are all beautiful differations to songs in the game- alternate versions. 'Be Alone, Be Sorrow' the piano version never sounded so wonderful in my opinion. I love the alterations made to the songs, not subtle or samey at all. Many are played with different rythems or tempos and quite a few have strong a vocal chorus in the background. I know that in the Star Ocean OST Volumes 1+2 whenever there are vocals in the background sometimes you are wishing they were a little more prominent. Then again, we don't want to be thinking of battling Sephiroth during the middle of dealing with Luther, do we? ^__^ And all the songs chosen for this CD- all songs chosen for 'alteration' (no pun intended) are some of the best songs in the game, in my opinion. Anyway, this is another great album- I was very happy with it anyway. ^___^ Matoi Sakuraba is a real genius. ^___^
