キャッチ アンド バック!! 中国で実際に開催されているロボット競技会【ロボマスター】をテーマに学生たちが日々の技術開発に取り組み、友情を育んだり、苦悩しながら大会にのぞんでいく姿を描いた日中共同制作のオリジナルアニメ。――大学の入学シーズン。新入生のサークル勧誘などで賑わう人ごみの中でタンタンは、独り自作のドローンKAKAの改良に余念がない。校舎裏から海岸へと続く広場で投げたフライングディスクをキャッチするKAKAの飛行テストをしていると海風に煽られてディスクーが一人の女性に当たってしまう。このアクシデントが心を閉ざしていたタンタンを大きな成長へと導くのであった。山下大輝、梅原裕一郎をはじめスタッフが出演しているイベント映像(約35分)を収録した特典DVD付き。特製8ページブックレット封入。描きおろしアウターケース付き。
