常に時代を挑発し、世の常識に疑問符を投げかける映画監督・園子温。「ひそひそ星」は自ら立ち上げたシオンプロダクションの第1回制作作品だ。園子温の伴侶であり女優・神楽坂恵を主役に、日本映画の最前線で活躍するスタッフたちで作り上げられた宇宙船のセット。同時に、"3.11"の傷跡濃い福島県でのロケを敢行している。――アンドロイドの鈴木洋子は、昭和レトロな内装の宇宙船にに乗り込み、滅びゆく絶滅種と認定されている人間たちに、大切な思い出の品などの荷物を届けるために、宇宙を何年も旅している。30デジベル以上の音をたてると人間が死ぬおそれがあるという"ひそひそ星"。洋子は注意深く音を立てないように、ある女性に配達をするのだが―。
