Fans of the Tarantino/Rodriguez double-feature effort "Grindhouse" have got to pick up this complete DVD box! First up in this box you get everything that's on the two separate film releases available in the USA/Australia/Everywhere - that is the extended cuts of "Planet Terror" and "Death Proof" plus a disc of extras for each film. Then you get the US theatrical cut of "Grindhouse" with the shorter versions of the films stuck together with the fake trailers in the middle. This cut is only available in Japan at the moment and may remain that way for a while. On top of that you get another Japan-exclusive disc with special features not on the US releases, such as a 24-minute piece from the 2006 San Diego Comicon event. Finally, the packaging maintains the "Grindhouse" feel of the films, it's black and tattered looking (but not really) on the outside. While on the inside you've got a fold-out digipak covered in stills from the films and their respective poster artwork. Within these insets are the six discs all printed to look like vintage vinyl records. Fantastic set! Definitely a must-buy if you loved "Grindhouse" and want the original cut of the film plus kick-ass extras and packaging!!
