昨年11/23に日本武道館で行われた、DEENの9回目となる日本武道館公演、DEEN at 武道館 2016 LIVE JOY SPECIAL ～Ballad Night～が待望の Blu-ray&DVD 化 ! 全曲網羅の永久保存盤 ! 公演のタイトルである「Ballad Night」にちなみ、DEEN の代表曲である「このまま君だけを奪い去りたい」をはじめ、最新シングルの「記憶の影」を含む大ヒットバラードを網羅。この日はサポートメンバーのベースとドラムスに加え8名のストリングスチームと18名のコーラス隊を従えた壮大なステージを行い、DEEN 初となるバラードばかりで構成した一夜限りの感動的なプレミアム公演となった。そんな、まさにバラードベストと呼べる武道館ライヴ Blu-ray&DVD には、数々のバラード楽曲に加え、キャイ～ンとの新ユニット KYADEEN (キャディ～ン)のサプライズ出演も収録。さらに、映像作品ならではのオフショット映像やインタビューをふんだんに盛り込んだ、ドキュメンタリー映画さながらの内容に仕上がっている。撮り下ろしの特典映像も収録。
