[Machine Translation] WONK is an experimental soul band that has already been described by various media as having a "world-class sound" because of its highly original and diverse musicality, which is based on Jazz and crosses over into Neo Soul/HIPHOP and other genres, and its spectacular live performances in special formations. WONK. Based in Tokyo, WONK's first album is the result of encounters with various music scenes of the same generation, as well as appearances and exposure in Wax Poetics and other venues and media.

Jazzを基盤としNeo Soul/HIPHOPなどジャンルをクロスオーバーに行き来し、その独創性高く多様な音楽性や、特別編成での圧巻のライブパフォーマンスにおいて、既に各メディアより"世界水準のサウンド"と評される、エクスペリメンタル・ソウルバンド、WONK (ウォンク)。東京を活動拠点として、同世代の様々な音楽シーンとの邂逅や、Wax Poeticsをはじめ各所、各媒体への出演・露出を経て、世界へ向けて発信する1stアルバムが完成。
