"BLOW THE NIGHT!" 夜をぶっとばせ / 邦画
名匠 曽根中生がキャリアで一番の自信作と自負した入魂の傑作が遂にDVD化! 曽根監督がずっと「絶対にDVD化してほしい。自分が作った映画の中で一番自信があるんだ。」と言い続けた作品。――十五歳の高田奈美江は東京近郊にある地方都市の中学に転校してきた。赤いチリチリの髪、眉毛を剃って、ロングスカートの彼女は学校では相手にされなくても、地元の暴走族とはすぐに親しくなった。そんな奈美江は、不良学生のリンチにメゲずに反撃する木戸尚也に惹かれていく。一方、東京では理佳子が学校帰りに派手な私服に着替え煙草をふかして街を歩く。その美しさにスカウトが声をかけてくるが興味はない。奈美江たちはシンナーをやって補導されるが、親たちは責任を学校になすりつける。やがて、木戸は奈美江と別れ、彼女の妹、奈津子と付き合うようになった。木戸との思い出の写真を焼きすてた奈美江は自分の手首を煙草の火で焼いた。学校ではついに暴発が起きた。授業中のささいなトラブルから生徒たちの反乱が始まり、校内にはロックが鳴り響き、ふだん憎まれていた教師は袋叩きにされる。怒号がとびかい、バリケードが作られ、生徒たちは荒れ狂う。奈美江にとっての本当の祭りが始まったのだ。劇場公開時パンフレット縮尺再編集版封入。
