2014年5月にリリースされたシングル「StarRingChild」がオリコン初登場3位を記録し、続く6月にリリースされた2nd album「Midnight Sun」も大ヒットを記録している中、早くも新作のリリースが決定! 今作では数々のアニメ、映画、ドラマの音楽のほか、様々なアーティストへの楽曲提供、プロデュースワークを手がけてきた菅野よう子とのコラボレーションが実現。表題曲「誰か、海を。」は、菅野よう子が劇伴を担当する新作TVアニメ「残響のテロル」のエンディング・テーマに決定している。Sigur Ros、M83、Sugar Cubesなど数々のビッグアーティストを手掛けてきたケン・トーマスも参加し、Aimerのさらなる可能性と表現力が引き出された1曲に仕上がっている。 その他の収録曲でもAimerがリスペクトするアーティストとのコラボレーションが実現。2nd albumを経て、新たな展望を感じさせる濃厚な1枚となっている。
