DARKNESS FLOW 『Friend of mine』 1st MAXI SINGLE!!★『DARKNESS FLOW』別名、栃木路地裏開墾団。メンバーは、TAO、KOTOBUKI、DJ MASATO、DJ S-10、DJ TAISHOの5人。98年に結成し、栃木県小山市を拠点に活動をスタート。長いキャリアを持つ彼等だが、栃木の地下に潜りつづけ、日の目を浴びようとしなかった…。しかし、「そろそろこの街にも真のアンダーグラウンドが実存することを証明したい。」という彼等の思いにより、自主レーベル"STAY HIGH Recordings"を立ち上げる。タイトル曲の『Friend of mine』は以前、地元限定で販売した結果(CD-R)、一週間で500枚を売り切るという栃木では異例の記録を残す。さらに収録曲2曲目の『DOPE ON PAPER』では、そんな彼等の存在を知り、彼等のスタンスに共鳴したLUNCH TIME SPEAXのGOCCI氏がfeat.として参加し、彼等の後押しをする。現在、DARKNESS FLOWの周りを取り囲む仲間達で結成した"STAY HIGH CREW(北関東カウチ・ロッカー集団)"でアルバムを制作中の彼等。まずはそれに先駆け、DARKNESS FLOWが3曲入りのMAXIをドロップする。雲のかかった栃木HIP HOPシーンの新たなる幕開け…。DARKNESS FLOWが真の栃木アンダーグラウンドを証明する為、全国へ煙を吐き出す!!
