The lyrics and music are written by Junichi, guitarist and vocalist, with each instrumentalist coming up with their own phrases, and the 21-year-old Junichi's life, love, hesitations, and many other emotions are expressed through his filter. There are never any strong words in the music, but when played as a raven and combined with Junichi's voice, it becomes something different from what you read and sinks into your heart. The voice that sings single notes as if it were talking, and then shouts the next phrase with a burst of guitar while retaining a sense of transparency, the bass line that is always present, and the drums that are unobtrusive and rambunctious. 繊細な心を力強くうたいあげる★秋田で活動中の、鴉(からす)がいよいよ全国を活動拠点とするため、1stミニアルバム「闇夜に星クズ」をリリース。6曲入り、26分。一曲一曲に、今の鴉(からす)のすべてが込められ演奏されています。レコーディング中も、"楽しい"の連発、メンバーは中身の濃い集中した時を過ごしました。そんな『鴉』の生み出した「闇夜に星クズ」は、一度聴いたらぬぐい去る事のできない印象を残します。作詞・作曲はギター・ヴォーカルの淳一が担当、それぞれの楽器担当が、それぞれのフレーズを考える。21才の淳一の人生・恋・迷いなど、諸々の感情が淳一のフィルターを通して表現されています。決して力強い言葉での表現はありませんが、鴉として演奏された時、淳一の声と一緒になった時、読むとは別ものとなって、心にしみ込んできます。単音をつま弾き語る様に歌い、つぎのフレーズは炸裂するギターと共に透明感を残しつつシャウトさせていく声、常に存在感のあるベースライン、目立たず暴れるドラム。そんな『鴉』です。4月からツアー企画中です。お近くまでおじゃますると思います。
