"INTRO-再起動-"というタイトルから始まるこのミニアルバム『FLOWERING』が製作されたきっかけは、遡(さかのぼ)ること約1年前にYOUTH自身もその名を連ねる<420FAMILY>代表・TERRY THE AKI-06が突如この世から別れを告げるという衝撃の事実を目の前に突きつけられた事にある。この事実と同時にYOUTHは新たな決意を胸に刻み、自身のプロダクション<KARASS CASTLE CORPORETION>を立ち上げる事となる。更には専属トラックメイカー・D-TRとYOUTHによるトラックメイカーユニット<Dee-Enw>(ディ-・エヌゥー)の活動を開始。時期と環境を整え、満を持して<KARASS CASTLE CORPORETION>のリリース第1弾がDee-Enwフルプロデュースとなる本作『FLOWERING』である。前述した事実を色濃く反映した本作の1曲目"INTRO-再起動-"ではTERRY THE AKI-06によるYOUTHの紹介から始まる。続く2曲目"COCOLOGAMAE"はタイトルはアルファベットながら和物のBEATに日本語のみのリリックで乗りこなした1曲。3曲目は現在発売中のV.A.『HIGH GRADE PROJECT 2008』(HGP-2008/JAPAN MUSIC SYSTEM)収録曲"BUBBLE FICTION"のREMIX Ver.。4曲目には岡山STREETの2枚看板、HANABiS(HIGH LIFE)との強力コンビネーション・チューン"WASH MONEY"。5曲目の本作タイトル曲でもある"FLOWERING"は本作全体のテーマである<開花>を強く打ち出した重要曲である。6曲目"SCHOOL ZONE"はULTIMATE MC BATTLE 2006～2008年岡山予選チャンピオン・FEIDA-WAN・YOUTH・LA-MEN DOGGによるフリースタイラーセッション。そして7曲目は4分20秒後に始まるTERRY THE AKI-06の名曲"正念場"のカバー・アンサー・ソング "焼燃葉-緑川流-"。
