BACH TO ME

[Machine Translation] Inspired by Johann Sebastian Bach, Cesare Picco creates an enchanting world of solo piano and orchestra. Cesare Picco, Italy's most famous pianist, released his latest work "Back to Me" last fall on the traditional German classical label "BERLIN CLASSICS", which is now available for import. Back to Me" is a concept CD of Cesare's Bach project, which was presented at "Hakju Hall", a classical music hall in Tomigaya, Tokyo, at the end of 2007. In this CD, Cesare's magic lures J.S. Bach's original compositions into a new musical territory. Bach's "Brandenburg Concerto No. 5" is wrapped in Picco's poetic and energetic essence. The Berlin Chamber Soloists and conductor Zvi Carmeli will perform the piece together in a sumptuous setting. Tracks ( 1 ) to ( 3 ) were recorded live at the LE DIECIGIORNATE DI BRESCIA FESTIVAL ( 10-day festival in Brescia, Italy, in 2006 ). The piano solos on tracks ( 4 ) to ( 9 ) were completed in July 2007 at Radiosvizzera Italiana, and are inspired by J.S. Bach's English Suite, allowing listeners who are not familiar with Bach to enjoy the "journey" of his music. With this project, one will discover Picco's wide-ranging talents and deep love of music.

ヨハン・セバスチアン・バッハからインスパイアされた、チェーザレ・ピッコが描くピアノソロとオーケストラの魅惑の世界。イタリアが生んだ孤高のピアニスト、チェーザレ・ピッコが、昨秋、伝統あるドイツのクラシック・レーベル「BERLIN CLASSICS」からリリースした最新作『バック・トゥ・ミー』の輸入販売が緊急決定。2007年暮れに、東京・富ヶ谷のクラシック系のホール「ハクジュ・ホール」にて披露された、チェーザレのバッハ・プロジェクトのコンセプトCDが、この『バック・トゥ・ミー』。本作では、チェーザレの魔術で、J.S. バッハのオリジナル楽曲を新たな音楽の領土に誘い込む。バッハの「ブランデンブルグ協奏曲第5番」をピッコのポエティックかつエネルギッシュなエッセンスで包み込んでいる。、ベルリン・チェンバー・ソロイストならびに指揮者ZVI CARMELIとの共演で贅沢に構成。トラック(1)から(3)は、2006年にイタリアはブレーシャ市で開催された LE DIECIGIORNATE DI BRESCIA FESTIVAL (ブレーシャの10日間フェスティバル)で収録された貴重なライブ音源。さらにトラック(4)から(9)のピアノソロの収録は、2007年7月にRADIOSVIZZERAITALIANAにて完成。J.S. バッハのイングリッシュスイートからインスパイアされた作品で構成されており、バッハを知らないリスナーでもその音楽の「旅」を楽しめる。このプロジェクトにより、ピッコの幅広い才能と深い音楽への愛情を感じとることになるでしょう。
