Another great single from B'z. This time, Tak blends a thick guitar sound with a catchy riff. Though it sounds like something many others have done before, it is the undisputed formula of success for B'z these days. Not only is it catchy but it has quality to it as well; the riff is not something any guitarist could just come up with. I am of the belief that only Tak could have come up with something so ingenious and with ease. What I love about this song is that it's like an upbeat melody (main riff) mixed with a sad melody (chorus and strings). The strings in the background make the chorus so strong and full of emotion. It blends in perfectly with the thick guitar sound. There is also something to be said about the little interlude preceding the solo. The way the whole song changes direction before transitioning into the solo is very well-done. While the solo isn't anything spectacular, it suits the song and is short and sweet. The way Tak makes full use of his guitar and the pick up selector switch is quite characteristic of his playing style. The second track, "Kirei na Namida" is another great track included on this single. It also has the potential to be an A-side. The solo is complex and there is a lot more instrumentation with many layers of sound. It sounds quite like "Eien no Tsubasa" to me but has its own unique flavor. Finally, the rearranged version "Ichibu to Zenbu" is a bonus though I do prefer the original. The packaging of this single is a plus too. I'm loving the raised surface of the CD art. It gives the whole digipak a nice feel. I would recommend picking up this single as it happens to be the first and possibly only single from them to include a bonus DVD with a nice music video.

Second single in three months for B'z. It features three tracks : My Lonely Town, Kirei Na Namida and Ichibu To Zenbu ~Ballad Version~. My Lonely Town is a pretty good hard rock track although I wouldn't playing it non stop. Kirei Na Namida... You would expect the song to be a ballad. Well, it's half true. In fact, the song starts a ballad and half-way, turns into an hard rock number or at least heavier than you thought it would be. Tak is a genius. The ballad version of Ichibu To Zenbu is much better than the hard rock version. Koshi's lyrics and vocal work work much better on a ballad than an hard rock number. The DVD contains the PV for My Lonely Town. This is the first ever PV released by B'z. Don't miss that chance! It's pretty well done too. In summary, 4 stars is what the single is worth :) Recommanded.
