This is one of the most beautiful, exquisite, delicious movies i've ever been lucky enough to see. I've always been a fan of Yoshitaka Amano's ART and Kawajiri's movies and i can have a jewel with both of them in the crew(even though Amano does only the illustrations, the chara design is by the gifted Yutaka Minowa)...now, i can die happy. This is the sequel to the underestimated movie by Toyoo Ashida(1985) and is based on the third book by Hideyuki Kikuchi. The musics are perfect for the atmosphere and help in dragging the watcher into Vampire hunter's world. This is, along with Ninja Scroll, Kawajiri's masterpiece and all the extras in this version make it something every true fan should have.
