アメリカ、ヨーロッパなど世界を舞台に躍動的な活躍を広げる4人のマリンバ奏者を中心に、熟達した手腕による"木のサウンド"の珠玉のアンサンブル。"木琴"が本来もつ、素朴であたたかな音色、溌剌としたリズム感、メロディーを歌うトレモロの美しさがふんだんに織り込まれ、バッハの名曲が新たな響きと世界をもって紡ぎ出される。手軽に弾けるような小さな編成が中心。"木琴"の原点を、バッハに立ち戻って見つめる。
