Crows Zero from Takashi Miike

Brace yourself for another adventure in pulp filmmaking from legendary Japanese director Takashi Miike with the DVD release of film "Crows Zero." The new film stars Shun Oguri, Takayuki Yamada, and Meisa Kuroki.
Based on the world of Hiroshi Takahashi's legendary 1990s manga "Crows," "Crows Zero" tells the tale of Suzuran Boy's High and the brawls of chief gang The Crows. Scrawny punk Genji Takaya must prove to his father--a yakuza boss--that he's fit to take over the family business by enrolling in the toughest school in town. When he takes out a small fry gang boss on the first day of school, he draws the attention of the school's heavyweights--each eager to take stop this young upstart. With alliances formed and lines drawn, the students of Suzuran Boy's High slowly proceed to a climactic final battle.
Takashi Miike's "Crows Zero" comes in two varieties, either the standard edition with just the main film, or premium edition with additional making-of footage and more!
