Megadeth - United Abominations

Megadeth - United Abominations

Face it, you miss thrash metal. It's OK if you do too, because Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine feels the same way. But now, after years of internal strife within the band had threatened to rip apart one of thrash metals top names, Megadeth are back with their brand-new full-length album "United Abominations."

Arriving first in Japan last Wednesday, "United Abominations" shows off the latest incarnation of Megadeth and a sound Mustaine himself describes as "somewhere between "Rust in Peace" and "Countdown to Extinction." That's right, the thrash is back thanks to blazing solos from Mustaine and newcomer Glen Drover, plus thumping drums courtesy of brother Shawn Drover.

The Japanese release of the album includes 12 songs total--the eleven original songs and the Japanese bonus track "Out on the Tiles." Featured tracks include "Washington is Next!" title track "United Abominations," the driving "Play for Blood," and a new version of the classic "A Tout Le Monde." Order now!
