How to Make Organic Sencha with "Marugoto Story"

Organic Sencha "Marugoto Story" Powder Stick (Japanese Green Tea)

Marugoto Story is just like Matcha, a fine powder grinded from tea leaves. If you are already familiar with Matcha powder, you may notice the similarities to Marugoto Story which is a Sencha, as it belongs to the same category as matcha in the Japanese green tea group.

Alternative for a Casual & Effortless Tea Life

Nono is a traditional and genuine Matcha which may seem like "the Japanese green tea". As we run around in our busy lives in this modern world, it may seem unrealistic to make this every night & day.

Differences of "Marugoto Story" from Matcha are:

  • Each serving amount is packed separately, saving you the trouble to measure.
  • Sealed sticks with no exposure to the air, enables a long expiration date.
  • Unnecessary to strictly follow the correct temperature of hot water.
So for example, you can casually bring it to your workplace and make it with a tea cup just like the video above. And just like Matcha, it uses the whole tea leaf which allows you to enjoy the nutrition of green tea to the fullest!

It has long been known that tea is good for your health. However if you just drink brewed green tea, only 20-30% of its nutrition will be ingested(*). As the rest of the tea shells contain incredible health benefits for the body, why not intake all the good things green tea has to offer with this product.

One More Benefit: Marugoto Story Has JAS (Japanese Agricultural Standard)

Once opening its package, you might notice that each stick has a JAS mark on its top.
To obtain the JAS mark, which stands for Japanese Agricultural Standard, products have to meet the following standards:
  • In production/processing, any prohibited agricultural chemical or chemical fertilizer must NOT be used for over 3 years.
  • Genetic modification technology is NOT applied.
  • All process of production (from processing to shipping), JAS eligible products are distinguished from other general tea, and are recorded.
  • Conditions above are being observed or reviewed every year by accreditation agencies registered in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
Although JAS is "Japanese" Agricultural Standard and not effective for all countries outside of Japan, conditions above give the products a certain level of reliability.
*Their JAS organic sencha "Marugoto Story" is certified by "ECOCERT" which certified as equivalent to USA, Canada, and EU's organic authentication (Official Press Release).
