Miyavi -This iz The Japanese Kabuki Rock- [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]

This CD is entertaining to the long-time Miyavi listener because it's yet another example of how diverse Miyavi is with music. Like others are saying, it's not his BEST album but it's definitely a great addition to the rest of the albums he's made. Miyavi's albums are usually drastically different from one another, so unless you have a very specific genre of music you like, it's nearly impossible to say which one is the best. This is definitely worth buying if you are a fan of Miyavi's everchanging music and genre-mixing style. I listen to ALL of Miyavi's music at once, and whenever a song comes on from this album I nearly never skip by it. The extra DVD is great, too, because it actually plays on American DVD players. Seeing and hearing Sugizo on my TV was great. ;D

This was actually a bit of a surprise because I was worried I was going to get the original, and not the special edition. Either way; the DVD was wonderful. I still can't get out, 'you look like a girl!' from my head. But yes, the making of videos and the Sugizo and Miyavi video were fun to watch. Overally, yeah, it's not Miyavi's best album; don't get me wrong, it was fun and it's good to see him branch out. The point is, the album got me listening to it for a good, long time. And that should be the point of any CD, regardless.

Miyavi could never fail to impress! This album is simply unique and absolutely great! All the songs are original. I really don't have anything to complain about *-*
