this is a very nice exclusive to japan edition of the 45th ann edition of destroyer just released a couple of weeks ago in japan, what makes this unique to japan is if you get this one fast before the first pressings are gone you get a free 45th ann april 1977 kiss japan tour poster replica from the infamous kiss april 77 japan tour, outside of that the reason for 4 stars here is the big box set released over here in the us 2 weeks ago comes with a whole lot more, you get the full paris 76 show ( all 12 tracks) you get loads of replicated 1975/76 kiss replicated fan club replications, 76 us tour programme, replicated 75/76 posters and a whole lot more, its a 5 disc set in total where this is only 2 discs wich seems unfair to the japanese kiss fans, also unique to this edition is THE JAPAN ONLY SHM remastering!!!! the 2 discs are very loud sounding wich i what i think any kiss fan wants, so anyway you can get the big destroyer us edition with all the goodies & more destroyer related demos, live stuff and tons of replications from this era all in a big box wich also includes a nice audio blu ray cd to, or you can get this one wich for die hards even if the die hards get the big box they still will not get the unique japan 77 tour replication poster and shm remastering so most will probably buy both...... it would be nice to see the first 3 kiss studio albums deluxed like this but my guess is if more are coming it will be ROCK N ROLL OVER, LOVE GUN ( from the 80s) LICK IT UP........ creatures of the night was the best kiss album of the 80s in 1982 but lick it up is almost as good and it was when they UNMASKED!!! SO I CAN SEE A 40TH ANN EDITION FOR THAT IN 2023.........

CD 1 contains the original album, newly remastered with Abbey Road mastering. CD 2 contains 6 demos (5 of them unreleased) from the personal archives of Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons. In addition to alternate versions/mixes, single edits, etc., it also includes four previously unreleased songs from an intense performance at the Olympia Theater in Paris, France on May 22, 1976.
