[リヒテル名盤1200] 20世紀を代表するピアニストの一人、スヴャトスラフ・リヒテル (1915.3/20-1997.8/1)の没後10年を記念する今年、彼が3レーベルに遺した名演の数々を再発売。録音のほとんどはライヴ録音でスタジオ録音は僅かしか残されていない。類稀なる集中力と緊張感をもつこの上なく錬磨された演奏で聴き手を圧倒したリヒテルのルーツとも言うべき近代ロシアの作品集。光と影、輝かしい技巧と神秘的な瞑想のコントラストを鮮やかに表現するスクリャービン、モダンな完成とリリシズムが巨大なスケールで展開するプロコフィエフ、いずれも巨匠リヒテルのみがなしえる比類ない音楽世界が展開する。 録音:1986年 ブリュッセル&コペンハーゲン (1)、1988年 イタリア (5、6) (ライヴ)。
