Wings Over America [2CD/Regular Edition] [SHM-CD]

It's the essential Paul McCartney live show now remastered! The remaster mix is at a nice low level allowing you to crank it up at a nice level, great mix too....very clear and fresh sounding. Paul's vocals sound great , warm and clear. Very nice live ambience and background vocals. This Wings lineup was a great band, and by the time this was recorded the band was tight. Bass , guitar , keyboards and effects all sound clear and enhanced. Nothing weak in the mix! There's also a great horn section that Paul employed on this tour and they sound fabulous on this recording. Paul sounds great redoing his Beatle stuff , Lady Madonna sounds great.....great bass playing by Jimmy McCulloch on that. Great low end overall , Paul's bass playing on Spirits of Ancient Egypt and Medicine Jar is rockin'! Maybe I'm Amazed sounds beautiful as well as the acoustic section of the show. The packaging is solid , nice paper sleeve with a beautiful live drawing of Wings in the gatefold. There's also a little picture booklet with some nice live photos. The actual CD's are housed nicely inside the paper sleeve. Overall i'm very happy with this release, SHM-CD and remastering sound is great to my ears. Sounds fabulous cranked up good and loud! I recommend picking this one up , like i said it's the essential Paul McCartney and Wings live RockShow from the '70's!
