"Heart Station" and "Stay Gold" are both catchy tracks on this single, the precursor to Utada's album "Heart Station" album. The titular track is catchy, though I'll admit I first thought that "station" referred to a train station (especially since in the MV, Utada is on a train!), but it's actually a radio station! "Stay Gold" is haunting and sad, but well worth the listen. Both of the tracks can be enjoyed in their original and instrumental forms on this single.

"If you can hear me, say something" 5

HEART STATION and Stay Gold are two amazing songs, with touching lyrics and sweet melody. I especially like the piano on Stay Gold, it's very relaxing and simple, even though the lyrics have something morbid to them.

HEART STATION has very nice lyrics, I like the whole idea of a "heart station". I think it's very original~ That said, if you like this single, I recommend you to buy her "HEART STATION" album, which is simply perfect.

Oh, and the stickers are awesome, too :]

Heart Station/Stay Gold is a double A-side single from Utada's already released album "Heart Station." Heart Station starts off with it's beautiful instrumentation and we're introduced to Utada's beautiful Ai's. I love the songs metaphors using radio stations. The song can be a bit repetitive but I enjoy it a lot. Stay Gold is a beautiful song with beautiful lyrics, but it over stay's it's welcome. Utada's voice is beautiful in this song, only complaint like I said was that it's to long. The CD comes with the Karaoke's of both songs.

What is there to say about this single that nobody else has said? Heart Station and Stay Gold are both amazing songs and once again showcase the musical ability and songwriting skills that Utada has already established many many times before. Buy this single if you're an Utada fan!

HEART STATION / Stay Gold 5

I have to say, I was quite impressed with HEART STATION/Stay Gold. HEART STATION is more upbeat than Stay Gold, but retains its unique Hikki sounds, and is rather fun to sing along to. Stay Gold is another great A-side, and is very relaxing. Both songs are very powerful in the message they are conveying, and it is a must-have for any fan of Hikki!

Check into HEART STATION!... 5

After a string of brilliant experimental post-ULTRA BLUE singles (Boku Wa Kuma, Flavor of Life, and Beautiful World/Kiss & Cry) that was met with varying levels of commercial and critical success, we now have Utada's first single of 2008 that leads us into her fifth Japanese studio album, also aptly titled HEART STATION. Like most of her TRULY loyal fans, I beleive her earlier Rock/R'n'B-oriented singles are the career-definers for Utada, but her recent works, specifically COLORS in 2003 till present, proves her matchless and endless ability for imroving vocals, music arrangements, and songwriting prowess! HEART STATION is the 2008 Recochoku Download Service Camapaign Song, and has a throwback/retro pop-soul expression with soothing background pulses while STAY GOLD is a light-hearted, piano-driven melody. BOTH are midtempos, somewhat an opposing akin to her previous upbeat double A-side 'BEAUTIFUL WORLD/Kiss & Cry'. Like the other HEART STATION era singles, these aren't the ABSOLUTE best Utada can do, but they get by being better than anythin else the Jpop industry has to offer before or surrounding its release...JUST BUY IT! And if you love it, BUY the HEART STATION album!
