Ninzu no Machi

Original film directed and written by Shinji Araki "Ninzu no Machi" comes out on Blu-ray. Co-starring Tomoya Nakamura and Shizuka Ishibashi. Plot: While being chased and assaulted by debt collectors, Aoyama is rescued by a bearded man wearing yellow jumpsuit. The man says he will prepare a place for Aoyama to hide. The man lures him to a strange town. The inhabitants of the town are controlled by "tutors" wearing jumpsuits, and in exchange for simple labor, they are guaranteed food, clothing, and shelter, and can even have sex with each other at the town's social pool. Posting on the Internet, voting in elections by pretending to be someone else.... For what? For whom? The residents are uninformed and accept these labors without thinking deeply about them, and time passes in this strange town. One day, Aoyama meets a new resident, Beniko, who says she has come to the town to look for her missing sister. Unlike the other residents, she seems to be in a desperate state, and Aoyama is concerned about her, however...

出るのも入るのも自由だが 離れられない「町」とは? 衝撃のディストピア・ミステリー誕生! 衣食住が保証され、決して離れることができない謎の「町」を舞台に、その「町」の住人となったひとりの男が、そこで出会う人々との交流を経て「町」の謎に迫っていく。中村倫也×石橋静河×鬼才・荒木伸二監督によるオリジナルストーリー! ――借金取りに追われ暴行を受けていた蒼山は、黄色いツナギを着たヒゲ面の男に助けられる。その男は蒼山に「居場所」を用意してやるという。蒼山のことを "デュード" と呼ぶその男に誘われ辿り着いた先は、ある奇妙な「町」だった。「町」の住人はツナギを着た "チューター" たちに管理され、簡単な労働と引き換えに衣食住が保証される。それどころか「町」の社交場であるプールで繋がった者同士でセックスの快楽を貪ることも出来る。ネットへの書き込み、別人を装っての選挙投票・・・。何のために? 誰のために? 住民たちは何も知らされず、何も深く考えずにそれらの労働を受け入れ、奇妙な「町」での時間は過ぎていく。ある日、蒼山は新しい住人・紅子と出会う。彼女は行方不明になった妹をこの町に探しに来たのだという。ほかの住人達とは異なり思い詰めた様子の彼女を蒼山は気にかけるが・・・。
