香取慎吾が39歳独身の"結婚できない男"を等身大の魅力で熱演。初共演となる上野樹里が32歳バツイチの"結婚しない女"を演じる。さらに西田敏行、風吹ジュン、水原希子、荒川良々、千葉雄大、柳原可奈子、中村アン、そして水野美紀ら豪華競演陣でおくるホームコメディ。――文具メーカーに勤める39歳独身・永里大介(香取慎吾)は結婚に超後ろ向きな39歳独身。決してモテないわけではないが、こだわりに満ちたシングルライフを満喫中の大介は念願のマンションを購入。しかし、至福の時も束の間。何年も顔すら合わせていなかった父親・永里陽三(西田敏行)が突然、再婚相手の13歳の義理の息子を連れてマンションに転がり込んで来るのだった。一方、大介と同じマンションの住人で、大手商社に勤務する32歳バツイチ独身OL・熊谷葉菜子(上野樹里)も、一人身である事に明確な意思を持つ、"再婚しない女"で、老後の生活もすでに準備中。自らの仕事に対する責任感は強くハードワークをこなす一方、他人にも厳しいクレーマー気質の持ち主だ。しかし、葉菜子の母・熊谷律子(風吹)が、リタイアして軽井沢暮らしを始めた夫と別居生活を始め、何の相談もなく愛する娘のマンションへとやってくる。穏やかなはずだった大介と葉菜子の独身生活は大混乱! しかし、そんな父や母の強力すぎる"おせっかい"パワーは、いつしか大介と葉菜子の心の壁を壊してゆくのだった・・・。全10話収録。特典ディスク付き。本編は一部ディレクターズカット版にて収録。
